STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAYS AT BOYLE STREET IN MANCHESTER
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 247 and 333(7) of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-Up of Highways (City of Manchester) (No. 3) Order 2000 Variation Order 2000, varying “The Stopping-Up of Highways (City of Manchester) (No. 3) Order 2000, the effect of which will be to allow the two footpaths to be closed prior to the creation of the turning head at Boyle Street. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the North West (Transport), Sunley Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE (quoting Ref. GO TNW 5082/35/1/73), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at The Town Hall, Albert Square, Manchester. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 24th May 2000, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
