NOTICE OF THE ISSUE OF A SUBMARINE PIPE-LINE WORKS AUTHORISATION

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry hereby gives notice that he has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, a works authorisation to be held by Shell U.K. Exploration and Production, whose address is Shell Centre, London SE1 7NA, for the construction of a 323.9 millimetre pipe-line and a 60.3 millimetre pipeline between a platform to be installed in the Skiff field and the existing PM Platform. Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the 323.9 millimetre pipe-line shall only be used to convey wet gas and the 60.3 millimetre pipe-line shall only be used to convey Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) and corrosion inhibitor. The pipe-lines may be used by the holder and with the holder’s agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons.
