STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAYS—PARTS OF GRUNDY STREET AND GAS TERRACE LEYLAND, SOUTH RIBBLE BOROUGH
Notice is hereby given that the Lancashire County Council, being the Highway Authority, intend to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Lancastergate, Leyland, on Wednesday, 28th June 2000, at 3 p.m., for Orders authorising the stopping-up of: (i) an area of highway at Grundy Street, Leyland, approximately 22 metres west of the westerly kerb-line of Chapel Brow, a total area of approximately 470 square metres; and (ii) an area of highway at Gas Terrace, Leyland, approximately 22 metres west of the westerly kerb-line of Chapel Brow, a total area of approximately 51 square metres. A copy of the map showing the proposals may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, at my offices and at the offices of the South Ribble Borough Council, Civic Centre, West Paddock, Leyland, until the date of the hearing. On the hearing of the applications, any person who uses the highways proposed to be stopped up and any person who would be aggrieved by the Orders applied for, shall have the right to be heard. M. B.
