RELATING TO HIGH ROAD, WOOD GREEN

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 20th April 2000, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be further to amend the Haringey (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) Order 1994, so that: (a) the hours during which the existing waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) will be changed so that they will apply at any time in parts of Alexandra Road, Brampton Park Road, Coleraine Road, Courcy Road and High Road, Wood Green; (b) the hours during which the existing waiting for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle will be changed so they will apply: (i) at any time in parts of Alexandra Road, Brampton Park Road, Coleraine Road, Courcy Road and High Road, Wood Green; (ii) between 8 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive in part of High Road, Wood Green; The general effect of the Goods Vehicle Loading Bays Order will be to introduce goods vehicle loading bays in Alexandra Road, Coleraine Road and High Road, Wood Green and provide that they may be used during the restricted hours by goods vehicles for the purpose of loading or unloading or delivering or collecting goods for a maximum continuous period of 30 minutes with return prohibited within one hour. The general effect of the Disabled Persons’ Parking Places Order will be to introduce parking places in High Road, Wood Green for the use of vehicles displaying an “Orange Badge” disabled persons’ parking permit in accordance with the regulations relating to the use of such badges. These disabled persons’ parking places will operate at all times. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 21st April 2000, can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, London N8 9JJ. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Traffic Management section, Hornsey Town Hall, The Broadway, Crouch End, London N8 9JJ. Any person desiring to question the validity of either of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to either of the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
