THE GREENWICH (FREE PARKING PLACES) (NO. 3) (AMENDMENT NO. 6) ORDER 2000
THE GREENWICH (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 81) ORDER 2000
Notice is hereby given that Greenwich Council, hereinafter called the Council, on 5th April 2000, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Trffic Act 1991. The effect of the free parking places Order will be to provide free parking places, operative between 8.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this notice, where vehicles may wait for a maximum period of 30 minutes with no return permitted to that same parking place within one hour. The effects of the waiting and loading Order will be to amend the Greenwich (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1994, so as to impose waiting restrictions, operative between 8 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 to this notice. A copy of each of the Orders, which will come into operation on 5th April 2000, the Order being amended, and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Engineering Services, Greenwich Council, Peggy Middleton House, 50 Woolwich New Road, Woolwich, London SE18 6HQ, for six weeks following the date the Orders were made and copies of the Order may be obtained from the same address. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Orders, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Schedule 1 Kidbrooke Lane: (a) the north-east side, from a point 4 metres south-east of the eastern kerb-line of the access road leading to Tudor Court extending south-eastward for a distance of 15.50 metres. (b) the south-west side, from a point 10 metres north-west of the western kerb-line of Well Hall Road extending north-westward for a distance of 44.10 metres. Well Hall Road: (a) the south-west side, from a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 140 and 142 Well Hall Road extending north-westward for a distance of 110 metres; (b) the west side (i) from a point 9 metres south of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 53 and 55 Tudor Parade, Well Hall Road extending northward for a distance of 78 metres; (ii) the west side, from a point opposite the common boundary wall of Nos. 12 and 13 Tudor Court, Tudor Parade, Well Hall Road extending northward for a distance of 14.60 metres. Well Hall Road Service Road, the west side, from a point 9 metres south of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 53 and 55 Tudor Parade, Well Hall Road extending northward for a distance of 54 metres. Schedule 2 Well Hall Road; (a) the east side, between a point 15.50 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Well Hall Parade and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 10 and 11 Tudor Court, Tudor Parade, Well Hall Road; (b) the west side, between a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 158-170 and 172 Well Hall Road and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 10 and 11 Tudor Court, Tudor Parade, Well Hall Road; (c) the service road fronting No. 9 Tudor Court to No. 53 Tudor Parade, both sides. Kidbrooke Lane, between the western kerb-line of the service fronting No. 9 Tudor Court to No. 53 Tudor Parade and the gated closure situated approximately 59 metres north-west of that kerb-line (measured on the south-west side). 5th April 2000.
