THE REDBRIDGE (30 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) (NO. 1) ORDER 2000
BROOK ROAD
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, made the above-mentioned Order on 17th January 2000, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and all other powers thereunto enabling. The general effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 1st February 2000, will be to reduce the speed limit in Brook Road between Whitehall Road and Tuttlebee Lane to 30 miles per hour to improve road safety in the area. Copies of the Order, together with a plan of the area and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order may be inspected between 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays at the Information Centre, Lynton House, High Road, Ilford, Essex, until 1st March 2000. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
