ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET (TRUNK ROADS) RED ROUTE (PRIORITY TRAFFIC LANES) EXPERIMENTAL TRAFFIC ORDER 1999 REVOCATION ORDER 2000
The Traffic Director for London, following a direction given to him by the Secretary
of State under section 58(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1991 to implement a Trunk Road
Local Plan, hereby gives notice as follows:
The London Borough of Barnet (Trunk Roads) Red Route (Priority Traffic Lanes) Experimental
Order 1999 (“the experimental Order”) was made under section 9 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 and came into force on 9th April 1999.
The above scheme was never introduced and therefore The Traffic Director for London
has now decided to revoke the Order.
The road affected by the experimental Order and this revocation Order is the A1 in
Barnet.
Any person desiring to question the validity of the experimental Order, this revocation
Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the
relevant powers, or that any of the relevant requirements have not been complied with
in relation to that Order, may within 6 weeks of the date on which that Order was
made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
