APPLICATION FOR AN ORDER AUTHORISING THE STOPPING-UP OF UNNAMED LENGTH OF HIGHWAY ADJACENT TO CHARLESWORTH COURT, BINGLEY CLOSE, BESWICK, MANCHESTER
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Manchester intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Court House, Crown Square, Manchester, on Thursday, 20th January 2000, at 2 p.m., for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the stopping-up of the highway specified hereto on the ground that it is unnecessary. A plan showing the said highway may be inspected, without payment, at my office, Room 601, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays. Any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the said Order may appear before the Court and make objections or representations thereto. Any person intending to attend the hearing of the application is requested to inform me, quoting Ref. L/MF, before the date of the hearing, of their intention to appear. S. Schedule The unnamed length of highway situate on the north side of Manipur Street, Beswick, Manchester, and to the west of Charlesworth Court, Bingley Close, Beswick (excluding the footway running alongside No. 2 Manipur Street and No. 14 Bingley Close) the length varying between approximately 26.7 metres and 23.9 metres and the width varying between approximately 19.2 metres and 13.5 metres. 16th December 1999.
