PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER SECTION 11 OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1990, PART 1
INTEGRATED POLLUTION CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Hanson Brick Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a variation to an existing Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) authorisation to operate a ceramic process at Kings Dyke Works, Whittlesey, in the district of Fenland District Council, in the county of Cambridgeshire. Information relating to the above IPC application for authorisation to operate the ceramic process is held in registers at The Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Kingfisher House, Goldhay Way, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough PE2 5ZR; and Fenland District Council, Fenland Hall, County Road, March, Cambridgeshire PE15 8NQ. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPC application should be made in writing to The Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE18 8NE, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request. In this case there will be included in the register a statement indicating only that representations have been made which have been the subject of such a request.
