THE KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. 21) (AMENDMENT ORDER) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999 NO. 111
NAPIER ROAD, MELBURY ROAD—ONE WAY TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and of all other powers thereunto enabling. The effect of the Order will be to amend the provision of the London Traffic (Prescribed Routes) (Chelsea and Kensington) Regulations 1964 which prohibits entry for vehicular traffic on Melbury Road between its junction with Abbotsbury Road and its junction with Addison Road in a south-westerly direction; on Napier Road between its junction with Holland Road and its junction with Addison Road in a north-easterly direction; on Napier Road between its junction with Holland Road and its junction with Russell Road in a south-westerly direction, so as to permit pedal cycles to enter the cycle lane and to travel in those directions along these roads. A copy of the proposed Order and all other relevant documents (including a relevant plan showing the proposed cycle lanes), may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Local Studies Desk, Central Reference Library, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesdays and between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays inclusive; (b) Planning Information Office, Room 325, The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, between the hours 9.15 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays and between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and 4.15 p.m. on Fridays inclusive. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the Director of Transportation and Highways, The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, quoting Ref.
