Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held into the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions’ proposals for the Order listed above and into the objection which he has received in connection with those proposals, following the close of the objection period, as permitted by Rule 28 of the Highways (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1994 and Rule 19 of the Compulsory Purchase by Ministers (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1994. The hearing will be held by a person to be appointed on the nomination of the Lord Chancellor by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions for the purpose of the hearing into the Order. The Secretary of State will publish a further notice in accordance with Rule 10 of the Highways (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1994 and the Compulsory Purchase by Ministers (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1994. The notice under Rule 10 will also include details of the Order which is the subject of the hearing and explain the procedures to be followed for anyone who wishes to appear and to give evidence or submit alternative proposals.
