NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58
NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL ROADWORKS

Notice is hereby given in accordance with section 58 of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, that the Babtie Group Ltd, acting as agents for the Highways Agency, intends to carry out susbstantial works for road purposes on the A51 North of Nantwich, Cheshire. The works are expected to affect the carriageway/drainage between A534 Burford Crossroads and Welshman’s Lane OSGR 629540-642539, and will include kerbing, carriageway reconstruction, drainage works and resurfacing. The works are expected to commence on 10th January 2000. Subject to the exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of twelve months from completion of the works described in this notice without the consent of the Babtie Group Ltd, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
