THE GREENWICH BLACKWALL PENINSULA REGULATION 18 AREA OF SPECIAL CONTROL DIRECTION

Greenwich Council (“the Council”) hereby gives notice that it has submitted an area of special control Order made under regulation 18 of the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisement) Regulations 1992, to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions for approval under Schedule 5 of the above- mentioned regulations. The Order designates the land as an area of special control described in the Schedule hereto and shown on the map accompanying the Order. A copy of the Order and of the statement of reasons for making the Order have been deposited at the Greenwich Strategic Planning, Reception first floor, Peggy Middleton House, 50 Woolwich New Road, Woolwich, London S.E.18, and will be available for inspection, free of charge, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. The Order is about to be considered by the Secretary of State. Any objection to the Order must be made in writing, stating the grounds of objection and quoting Ref. ADV/3/1/1 and sent to the Secretary of State at Department of Environment Transport and the Regions, 4-5 Eland House, Bressenden Place, London SW1E 5DU, before the expiry of 28 days from the date of first publication of this notice.
