THE GUILDFORD OFF STREET PARKING PLACES (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) ORDER 1999

Notice is hereby given that Guildford Borough Council propose to make an Order in exercise of its powers under sections 32, 33, 35, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regultion Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to amend the Guildford Off Street Parking Places Consolidation and Amendment Order 1996 (as amended) introducing the following additional car parking facilities: Shalford Park Car Park, front of pavilion and public toilet: Available for parking every day with no charge but subject to a 2 hour parking limit from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Within the gated area: Available for parking every day when the gate is unlocked with “pay and display” parking from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday at charge of £1.50 per visit. Reason: the proposed Order is required to enable the parking spaces at Shalford Park car park to be used and managed for both users of the park and the general public. Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Order which can be seen ast Millmead House, Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Objections to the making of the Order, together with the grounds on which they are made, must be submitted to me in writing, quoting Ref.
