ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A6 TRUNK ROAD (ROWSLEY TO BAKEWELL) TRAFFIC REGULATION (CYCLE LANES) ORDER 1999

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) and 4(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order which comes into force on Monday, 9th August 1999, is described in The London Gazette, dated 10th June 1999. A copy of the Order and a plan have been deposited at Rowsley Post Office, Church Lane, Matlock DE4 2EA, Derbyshire Dales District Council, Council Offices, Bath Street, Bakewell DE45 1BY, where they may be inspected during normal opening hours; or may be seen at or obtained by application to the Director, The Highways Agency, Project Services Operations Division, Room 705, Sunley Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE, quoting HA 19/016/007. Any person who desires to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in, the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers with respect to the Order conferred by the above Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of, or of any instrument made under, any provision of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order may before Thursday, 16th September 1999, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order, or of any provision contained therein.
