NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995) that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Yorkshire Water Services Ltd, 2 The Embankment, Sovereign Street, Leeds LS1 4BG for consent to discharge sewage effluent under storm conditions from a combined sewer overflow adjacent to Hoyle House Beck, off Bradford Road, Baliff Bridge, Nr Brighouse, West Yorkshire, into Clifton Beck at National Grid Reference SE 1478 2445. This discharge forms part of a sewerage improvement scheme. Any person who wishes to make representations or objections with respect to the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, North East Region, Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PG, for the attention of Simon Bullett, not later than 10th August 1999. A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the local Environment Agency office at Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PG, on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., up to 10th August 1999.
