HIGHWAY AT WINDLASS CROFT AND CROSSLAND ROAD, NORTHFIELD, BIRMINGHAM

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (City of Birmingham) (No. 6) Order 1999, authorising the stopping-up of the entire length of Windlass Croft, the entire length of Crossland Road and the stopping-up of a length of footpath between Nos. 12 and 14 Windlass Croft. The Order as made, will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Birmingham City Council, on 4th November 1998, under reference S/03385/97/FUL. Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands at the offices of the Director, Local Government Division, 77 Paradise Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 2DT (quoting 5104/35/1/133) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Birmingham City Council, Baskerville House, Broad Street, Birmingham B1 2NA. Any person aggrieve by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 25th June 1999 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
