NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Badgemore Park Golf Club, of Badgemore, Henley-on-Thames, Oxon RG9 4NR, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Upper Chalk, at National Grid Reference SU 7475 8317, at Badgemore Park Golf Club, Badgemore, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. The proposals it to abstract water at the following rates: 17.5 cubic metres per hour, 420 cubic metres per day, 30,000 cubic metres between April and October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation of Golf Course. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Badgemore Park Golf Club, between 25th June 1999 and 25th July 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Water Resources Team Leader, West Area, Isis House, Howbery Park, Wallingford, Oxfordshire OX10 8BD, before the end of the said period.
