PUBLIC NOTICIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1990, PART 1
INTEGRATED POLLUTION CONTROL
Notice is hereby given that Owens Corning Building Products (UK) Ltd. has applied to the Environment Agency for a variation to the Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) authorisation to operate a Glass Mineral Wool Manufacturing Process at PO Box 10, Stafford Road, in the borough of St. Helens, in the county of Merseyside. Information relating to the above IPC application for authorisation to operate the Glass Mineral Wool Manufacturing Process is held in registers at the Environment Agency, Richard Fairclough House, Knutsford Road, Warrington, and St. Helens Metropolitan Borough Council, Personal Services Department, Environmental Health Department, Westley House, Corporation Street, St. Helens WA10 1HF. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objection or representations to the above IPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency, Appleton House, 430 Birchwood Boulevard, Birchwood, Warrington, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. Any such objections or representations will be entered into the public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request. In this case there will be included in the register a statement indicating only that representations have been made which have been the subject of such a request.
