PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1990 PART 1
INTEGRATED POLLUTION CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that PPG Industries (UK) Ltd., has applied to the Secretary of State for the Environment for an Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) authorisation to operate a chemical process 4.2 A(d) at North Woolwich Road, Silvertown, London E16 2AF, in the Borough of Newham, in the County of London.
Information relating to the above IPC application for authorisation to operate the process Type 4.2 A(d) is held in registers at the following locations:
The Environment Agency, Thames Region, Kings Meadow House, Kings Meadow Road, Reading RG1 8DQ;
London Borough of Newham, Environmental Health Services, Alice Billings House, 2-12 West Ham Lane, London E15 4SF.
Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying.
Any objections or representations to the above IPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days of the date of this public notice:
The Environment Agency, Apollo Court, 2 Bishops Square Business Park, St. Albans Road West, Hatfield, Hertfordshire AL10 9EX.
Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not so be placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
In this case there will be included in the register a statement indicating only that representations have been made which have been the subject of such a request.
