Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 18th May 1999, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 7(1) and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, so as to reproduce and continue in force indefinitely the provisions contained within the Camden (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (SPA) (Amendment No. 27) Experimental Traffic Order 1997, the Camden (Bus Stop Clearway) (No. 3) Experimental Order 1997, and the Camden (Bus Lane) (No. 3) Experimental Traffic Order 1997, the details of which have been previously published in The London Gazette on 27th November 1997, under Ref. No. 559. The general nature and effect of the Orders will be to continue in force indefinitely: the bus lanes as part of the London Bus Priority Network in those lengths of carriageway specified in Schedule 1 to this notice; the waiting and loading restrictions in Highgate Road; the “at any time” no stopping clearway restrictions at bus stops in Highgate Road, except for local buses; the “at any time” no stopping clearway restrictions at bus stands in Highgate Road, except for local buses. A copy of the Orders, which will come into force on 1st June 1999, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, may be inspected/purchased during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Environment Department Reception, Fifth Floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance WC1H 8EQ. Any person wanting to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or any relevant regulations made thereunder had not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Highgate Road; (northbound) (i) South-west side, between a point 20 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Carrol Close and a point 10.5 metres north-west of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 137 and 139 Highgate Road Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive
Highgate Road; (southbound) (ii) North-east side, between a point 14 metres south of the south-eastern kerb-line of St. Alban’s Road and a point 2 metres south-east of the north-western kerb-line of Glenhurst Avenue Between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Monday to Friday inclusive
Highgate Road; (southbound) (iii) North-east side, between a point 31 metres south of the south-eastern kerb-line of Burghley Road and a point 7.5 metres south-east of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 2 and 2 a /4 Highgate Road Between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., and 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Friday inclusive and between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturdays
