THE BOROUGH OF CONGLETON (SANDBACH ROAD,
RODE HEATH) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 1999
Notice is hereby given, that on Wednesday, 19th May 1999, Congleton Borough Council,
pursuant to arrangements with Cheshire County Council, made an Order under sections
1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect
of which will prohibit waiting by vehicles at any time on the lengths of Sandbach
Road, Rode Heath, specified in the Schedule to this notice.
The Order comes into force on Monday, 24th May 1999, and a copy of the Order, together
with a map showing the roads affected may be examined during normal office hours at
Alsager Information Office, and “Westfields”, Middlewich Road, Sandbach.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein,
on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulations
Act 1984, or on grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made
under it have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks
from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e. 19th May 1999) apply to the High
Court for this purpose.

Schedule
Sandbach Road (north side), from its junction with the A50 Knutsford Road, in a westerly direction
for a distance of 260 metres.
Sandbach Road (south side), from its junction with the A50 Knutsford Road, in a westerly direction
for a distance of 380 metres.
