INTEGRATED POLLUTION CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Hays Process Chemicals has applied to the Environment Agency for a variation to an existing Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) authorisation to operate a sulphuric acid process at Lancots Lane, Sutton Oak, St. Helens in the Metropolitan borough of St. Helens in the county of Merseyside. Information relating to the above IPC application for variation to the existing authorisation is held in registers at the Environment Agency, Richard Fairclough House, Knutsford Road, Warrington WA4 1HG and St. Helens Metropolitan Borough Council, Town Hall, Victoria Square, St. Helens WA10 1HP. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPC applications should be made in writing to the Environment Agency, at Appleton House, 430 Birchwood Boulevard, Warrington WA3 7WD, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. Any such objections will be placed on the public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. In this case there will be included in the register a statement indicating only that representations have been made which have been the subject of such a request.
