NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Decorpart Ltd, of Edward Street, Nelson, Lancashire BB9 8TJ, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from underground strata lower coal at National Grid Reference SD 8672 3894, at Edward Street, Nelson, Lancashire BB9 8TJ. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 14.4 cubic metres per hour, 345.50 cubic metres per day, 121,000 cubic metres per year, all year. The water will be used for industrial process all year round. This is as continuation of existing time limited licence. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, between 8.30 a.m. and 5 p.m., between 14th April 1999 and 31st May 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, PO Box 519, South Preston PR5 8GD, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
