NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO RENEW A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Notice is hereby given that an application is being made to the Environment Agency Anglian Region by Frederick Hiam Limited, Manor Farm Ixworth Thorpe, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, to renew licence No. 6/33/45/53 (Brandon Fields) (incorporating No. 6/33/56/150), for abstraction of the following quantities of water from boreholes at National Grid References TL 75368651 and TL 74768524 in the parish of Brandon in the district of Forest Heath in the county of Suffolk, for the purpose of spray irrigation: 159\1 cubic metres per hour, 3,818\6 cubic metres per day from each borehole, a maximum of 386,410 cubic metres between 1st March and 31st October each year. A copy of the application and of any map, plan or other documents submitted with them may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours between 8th April and 20th May 1999, at the following locations: Frederick Hiam Ltd., Manor Farm Ixworth Thorpe, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, and Frederick Hiam Ltd., Brandon Fields Estate, Brandon, Suffolk. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Central Area, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntington PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period.
