NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995), that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by British Aerospace, Military Aircraft and Aerostructures, Saltgrounds Road, Brough HU15 1EQ, for consent to discharge a maximum of 750 cubic metres per day of trade effluent into the Humber Estuary from premises at Saltgrounds Road, Brough, at National Grid Reference SE 9385 2600. This application is to vary the existing consent to discharge to increase the consented maximum volume of 350 cubic metres per day. Any person who wishes to make representations or objections with respect to the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, North East Region, Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PG, for the attention of Simon Bullett, not later than 30th April 1999. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Local Environment Agency office, at 1 Viking Close, Great Gutter Lane (East), Willerby, Hull HU10 6DE, on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. up to 30th April 1999.
