NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Anglian Water Services Limited, of Endurance House, Chivers Way, Histon, Cambridge CB4 9ZR, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 6/33/39/8, which authorises the abstraction of water from six chalk boreholes at National Grid References TL 640 728, TL 640 729, TL 641 729, TL 643 730 and TL 643 731, in the parish of Isleham, in the district of East Cambridgeshire, in the county of Cambridgeshire. The variation being applied for is to renew the current licensed quantities of 5,700 cubic metres per day and 1,650,000 cubic metres per year, which will otherwise reduce to 5,680 cubic metres per day and 1,136,500 cubic metres per year on 31st December 1999. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the address given above and at Isleham Water Treatment Works Office, Fordham Road, Isleham CB7 5QX, between 12th March 1999 and 9th April 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the applications should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Central Area, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
