Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley, hereinafter
called “the Council”, on 23rd February 1999 made the above-mentioned Orders under
section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and
Part I of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, which will come into operation
on 15th March 1999.
The general effect of the Orders will be as stated in the notice of proposal published
in The London Gazette dated 14th January 1999, Issue number 55375, Reference No. (486).
A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays
until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders at
the Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions,
on the ground that they are not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or
that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made
thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date on which
the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
