THE BARNET (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (1977 NO. 46) (AMENDMENT NO. 2) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 1st March 1999 an Order under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to provide parking bays for disabled drivers in the roads specified in the Schedule 1 to this notice. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Monday, 1st March 1999, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected beween 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) inclusive until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Traffic Section, Room 1006, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ. (b) The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
