ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE A40 TRUNK ROAD (LONDON ROAD, OXFORD) (BUS/CYCLE LANE AND 24 HOURS BUS STOP CLEARWAY) ORDER 1999
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made this Order on 15th February 1999, coming into force on 20th February 1999, on the A40 Trunk Road at Oxford in the county of Oxfordshire. The notice of the proposal to make it (Ref. HA 41/29/29) was published in Issue Number 55363 of The London Gazette on 31st December 1998, and the effect of the Order is as described in that notice. A copy of the made Order and of a plan illustrating the effect of the Order may be inspected during office hours at the offices of Oxford County Council, Environmental Services, Speedwell House, Speedwell Street, Oxford OX1 1NE, and at those of Oxford City Council, Central Services Department, Town Hall, Blue Boar Street, Oxford OX1 1EY. They may also be obtained by application to Southern Network Customer Services, Highways Agency, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ, quoting Ref. HA 41/29/29. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of any regulations made thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks from 15th February 1999, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or any provisions contained therein.
