NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF PROPOSALS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THREE LOCAL PLANS
BOURNEMOUTH DISTRICT WIDE LOCAL PLAN
Notice is hereby given that Bournmouth Borough Council has prepared proposals for the replacement of the Bournemouth Borough Local Plan, Boscombe Local Plan First Review and Town Centre Local Plan. If and when these plan proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for Bournemouth Borough Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting the area. Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection at the Development Services Directorate, Planning Services Division, Town Hall Annexe, St. Stephen’s Road, Bournemouth, free of charge, on Mondays to Thursdays, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 5.15 p.m., and Fridays between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 4.45 p.m. Copies of the proposals may also be inspected at public libraries throughout the Borough. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposals, should be sent in writing to The Director of Development Services, Development Services Directorate, Planning Services Division, Town Hall Annexe, St. Stephen’s Road, Bournemouth BH2 6EA, before 1st April 1999. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption or rejection of the proposals. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 1st April 1999 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or hearing. Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making representations Bournemouth Borough Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
