NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Robson Farms (Banham), of the Alde House Estate, Banham, Marshall College, Mill Road, Banham, Norwich, Norfolk, is applying to the Environment Agency to abstract water from underground strata (crag), at National Grid Reference TM 392568, at Iken, Suffolk. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 65 cubic metres per hour, 1,350 cubic metres per day, and 27,000 cubic metres between April and October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. This is for renewal of Licence No. 7/35/5/G/86, which expires on 31st October 1999. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it, may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Alde House, Iken, Woodbridge, Suffolk, by telephoning 01953888656 for an appointment between 10th February and 10th March 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period. G. A.
