THE GREENWICH (BUS STOP CLEARWAY) (AMENDMENT NO. 8) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999
THE GREENWICH (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 58) ORDER 1999

Notice is hereby given that Greenwich Council, hereinafter called the Council, on 27th January 1999 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.
The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be further to amend the Greenwich (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1994, so that existing waiting restrictions will be changed and/or imposed on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this notice to become operative between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive.
The general effect of the Bus Stop Clearway Order will be to amend the Greenwich (Bus Stop Clearway) Traffic Order 1997 so as to designate bus stop clearways operative at any time on the lengths of street specified in Schedule 2 to this notice.
Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 15th February 1999, the Orders being amended, together with plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Development Services, Greenwich Council, Peggy Middleton House, 50 Woolwich New Road, Woolwich SE18 6HQ, and copies of the Orders may be obtained from that address.
Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the making of the Orders, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Schedule 1

Basildon Road,
(a) the east side,
(i) between the northern kerb-line of Bostall Hill and a point 6 metres north of a point opposite the southern flank wall of No. 2 Basildon Road;
(ii) between the southern kerb-line of McLeod Road and a point 2 metres south of a point opposite the northern flank wall of No. 76 Basildon Road;
(b) the west side, between the northern kerb-line of Bostall Hill and a point 26 metres north of that kerb-line.
