NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995) that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Miller Civil Engineering, 18 South Groathill Avenue, Edinburgh EH4 2LW, for consent to discharge up to 7,000 cubic metres per day of groundwater into Old Fleet Drain (non tidal), Old Fleet Drain (tidal) and the Humber Estuary at land between Hull Road/Hedon Road, Saltend, and the Humber Estuary between National Grid References TA 1583 2902 and TA 1570 2788. Any person who wishes to make representations or objections with respect to the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, North East Region, Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PG, for the attention of Darryl Toothill, not later than 3rd February 1999. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the local Environment Agency Office, at 1 Viking Close, Great Gutter Lane (East), Willerby, Hull HU10 6DE, on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. up to 3rd February 1999.
