NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO STOP UP A PUBLIC HIGHWAY

Notice is hereby given that the District Council of North Somerset, the highway authority for the area, intends to apply to the Woodspring Magistrates’ Court, The Court House, Flax Bourton, Bristol, on 15th January 1998, at 11 a.m., for an Order permanently stopping-up for the purposes of all traffic, part of a lay-by being a Class 5 Highway, off the A38 road at Cowslip Green, Wrington, in the district of North Somerset. The area of highway in question is shown hatched black on a plan, a copy of which may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the North Somerset District Council, Town Hall, Weston-Super-Mare BS23 1LR, during normal office hours, and at Congesbury Public Library, Kent Road, Congesbury, Bristol BS19 5BA, during normal opening hours. Any person wishing to object to the proposal or to make representations about it, may appear at the hearing at the date and time shown above.
