Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Havering, hereinafter called the Council, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders, under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986, the Parking Act 1989 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general effect of the bus lanes Order would be: (a) to designate a north-westbound with-flow bus lane, operative between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the length of street specified in Schedule 7 (Part A) to this notice; (b) to designate a south-eastbound with-flow bus lane, operative between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the length of street specified in Schedule 1 (Part B) to this notice; (c) to designate a north-eastbound with-flow bus lane, operative between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, and between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturdays, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 (Part C) to this notice. The general effect of the Prescribed Routes Order would be to prohibit vehicles: (a) proceeding north-westward in Upper Brentwood Road from turning left into Main Road; (b) proceeding north-eastward in Main Road from turning right into Upper Brentwood Road; (c) proceeding south-eastward in North Street from turning right into Cedar Road. The general effect of the waiting and loading restriction Order would be to: (a) impose waiting restrictions: (i) operative between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the lengths of street specified in Schedule 2 (Part A) to this notice; (ii) operative between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 (Part B) to this notice; (iii) operative between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the lengths of street specified in Schedule 2 (Part C) to this notice; (iv) operative between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, and between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturdays, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 (Part D) to this notice; (v) operative at any time, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 (Part E) to this notice. (b) impose loading restrictions: (i) operative between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 3 (Part A) to this notice; (ii) operative between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the lengths of street specified in Schedule 3 (Part B) to this notice; (iii) operative between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, on the lengths of street specified in Schedule 3 (Part C) to this notice; (iv) operative between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive and between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturdays, on the lengths of street specified in Schedule 3 (Part D) to this notice; (v) operative at any time, on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 3 (Part E) to this notice. Details of exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order of 1994. The general effect of the loading places Order would be to designate a loading bay in North Street, Romford as specified in Schedule 4 to this notice, operative between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, where vehicles could wait for a maximum period of 20 minutes only whilst loading or unloading to adjoining premises and where return to that same loading place would be prohibited for a period of one hour.
