The Taunton Deane Borough (Box Junction) (M5/A358 Blackbrook Roundabout, Taunton) Order 1998 Public Notice Affecting M5/A358 Blackbrook Roundabout, Taunton
Notice is hereby given that on 4th November 1998, Taunton Deane Borough Council made an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2), 4(1) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit the driving of vehicles into a cross-hatched yellow box junction bounded by a yellow line placed on the easterly quarter of the Blackbrook roundabout at the junction of the M5 Motorway southbound slip road and the A358, if the exits from the box junction are not clear. The prohibition will not apply in relation to vehicles used for Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance or civil defence purposes. The Order will come into operation on 6th November 1998. A copy of the Order and map showing the location of the road may be inspected at The Deane House, Belvedere Road, Taunton, during normal office hours. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein, on the grounds that they were not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from 6th November 1998, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
