The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has decided not to make Orders under sections 247, 253 and 261 of the above Act to authorise the stopping-up of highways at Hathery Lane, Bebside, Blyth, referred to in the notices published on 17th December 1996, and 9th May 1997, under references DN5068/35/1/93, and GO-NE/97/5068/35/01 respectively, which matters were subject of a Public Local Inquiry held at the Civic Centre, Renwick Road, Blyth, on Tuesday, 8th July 1997.
