ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
The A69 Trunk Road (Greenhead) (60 m.p.h. Speed Limit) Order
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to impose a 60 m.p.h. speed limit on the dual carriageway section of the A69 Trunk Road between points 218 metres west and 209 metres east of the B6318 junction (leading to Greenhead). A copy of the proposed Order, the relevant plan, and a statement explaining the Secretary of State’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at Haltwhistle Library. Copies may also be seen at or obtained by application to the office of the Director, The Highways Agency, 9th Floor West, PO Box 206, City House, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4UR. Any person wishing to object to the Secretary of State’s proposal to make this Order should send a written statement of their objection and the grounds therof to the Director’s address above, quoting HA 28/3/8.
