Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Heygate Farms Swaffham Ltd., and Heygate and Sons, on Snails Pit Farm, Cley Road, Swaffham, Norfolk, are applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial numbers 6/33/48/G/230 and 6/33/49/G/62 which authorise the abstraction of water from two boreholes into the Chalk Strata, at National Grid References TF 7765 0395 in the parish of Cockley Cley and TF 7552 0584 respectively, in the parish of Beechamwell, both in the district of Breckland, in the county of Norfolk.   The variations being applied for are to extend the area of land covered by the two licences to include land recently acquired in the parish of Beechamwell, near Shingham Farm.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at The Farm Office, Snails Pit Farm, Cley Road, Swaffham, Norfolk, between 21st October and 21st November 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Central Area, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period.
