TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order, under section 247 of the above Act, to authorise the stopping-up of a part of the south-eastern footway of Lambeth Road, London S.E.1.
  If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Raffles Land Limited by the London Borough of Lambeth, on 6th July 1999, under Ref. 97/01973/FUL/SEB/12107.
  Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours during 28 days commencing on 18th September 1998, at the offices of the London Borough of Lambeth, Environmental Services Department, Courtney House, 9-15 New Park, London S.W.2, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Transport Division (quoting Ref. LRO 34/N5660/1/010) at the address stated below.
  Any person may object to the making of the proposed Order within the period of 28 days commencing on 18th September 1998, by notice to the Secretary of State for the Environment Transport and the Regions, quoting the above reference, at the Government Office for London, Transport Division, 8/W19, Riverwalk House, 157-161 Millbank, London SW1P 4RR.
  In preparing an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be inparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

Schedule

  Redevelopment of the site to provide 190 residential units together with leisure use (D2), or A1 retail, or, A3 food and drink uses, a visitor centre and associated car parking, vehicular access and landscaping.
