The City of Westminster (Coach Parking Place) (Amendment
No. 1) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council on 16th September 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
  The general effect of the Order will be to revoke and re-apply the provisions of the City of Westminster (Coach Parking Place) (No. 1) Order 1998, with certain minor drafting changes, by continuing to provide:

  (a) a 30 minute coach metered parking place on the north-eastern side of Hanover Square;
  (b) that the rate of charge for the use of the coach parking place will be at the rate of 20 pence for 3 minutes up to a maximum of £2 for 30 minutes, and the period during which a coach may not return to the parking place will be 1 hour (n.b. the previous Order provided for a minimum parking charge of £1 for 15 minutes with no intermediate 3 minute periods);
  (c) that the coach parking place will be available for paid parking between 8.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays and between 8.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. on Saturdays.

  The Order will come into effect on 19th September 1998.
  A copy of the made Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays until 28th October 1998, in One Stop Services, City Hall, 62 Victoria Street, London SW1E 6QP.
  Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 28th October 1998.
