Notice of Adoption of Proposals for a Local Plan
Staffordshire Moorlands Local Plan

On 8th September 1998 the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council adopted these plan proposals with modifications. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for the Staffordshire Moorlands District. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
  Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at the following locations and times: Directorate of Development Services, Moorlands House, Stockwell Street, Leek, Monday to Thursday, 8.45 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. and Friday, 8.45 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.; District Council Office, High Street, Biddulph, Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4.45 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon; District Council Office, Leek Road, Cheadle, Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4.45 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
  Copies have also been made available for inspection at the following local libraries: Biddulph, Blythe Bridge, Cheadle, Leek and Werrington during their normal opening hours.
  The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 8th September 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
