Revised Layout of On-Street Parking Places
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea on 4th September 1998, made the above Orders the general effect of which is to: introduce “At Any Time Waiting restrictions” in various lengths of Allen Street, Coleherne Mews, Draycott Avenue, Donne Place, Ives Street, Mossop Street, Denyer Street, Exhibition Road, Thurloe Place, Thurloe Street, Hillgate Street, Jubilee Place, Marloes Road, Pembridge Villas, Swinbrook Road, South Bolton Gardens, Sydney Street and Phillimore Walk; introduce “At Any Time Waiting restrictions” in various lengths of Princes Gate Mews by converting a residents parking space and existing single yellow line; introduce additional waiting restrictions in various lengths of Portobello Road; introduce two Orange Badge Disabled Bays in Phillimore Walk by converting an existing parking meter and single yellow line; introduce a Diplomatic parking bay in Cadagan Place with the loss of 1 meter parking bay; introduce 2 additional visitor parking bays in Bedford Gardens by converting existing single yellow line; rearrange the existing parking layout in certain parts of Blechyden Street with no overall loss of parking; remove 2 meter parking bays in Moscow Road; convert 2 meter parking bays in Abingdon Villas to residents parkings spaces; extend the motorcycle parking bays in Berkeley Gardens and Vicarage Gate by converting existing single yellow line; rearrange the existing parking layout in Priory Walk with the loss of 1 parking meter bay; extend the existing Police parking bays in Earls Court Road by converting existing single yellow line; convert a redundant coach stop in Notting Hill Gate to a bus stand; extend an existing taxi rank in Sloane Avenue by converting existing single yellow line. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation for the purpose of placing traffic signs on 7th September 1998, and for all other purposes on 28th June 1998, and all other relevant documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of 6 weeks from the date the Orders were made in The Parking Management Office, Room 317, The Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, 0171-361 3487. Any persons desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose of the High Court.
