Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that P. Cook and Sons of 127 Dawsheath Road, Thundersley, Rayleigh, Essex, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence 8/37/44/S/58 to abstract water from a tributary of the Eastwood Brook at National Grid Reference TQ 804 890 at Dawsheath Road. The variation being applied for is to abstract water between November and March and to locate the reservoir off-stream, with no change to authorised annual quantity.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at 127 Dawsheath Road, between 1st September 1998 and 30th September 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about this application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period.
