Notice of application for consent under Schedule 10

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995) that the following application has been made to the Environment Agency, South West Region.   Application Ref. 200786 by Devon Waste Management to discharge a maximum of 780 cubic metres per day of site drainage to the Leighty Water in the River Torridge catchment at National Grid Reference SS 5221 2090 from Deep Moor Landfill Site, High Bullen, Torrington, Devon. Improvements to the existing treatment of site drainage are proposed as part of the overall environmental improvement at the site.   Copies of this application may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the Agency Offices at Exminster House, Miller Way, Exminster, Exeter, Devon EX6 8AS.   Any person who wishes to make representations about this application should do so in writing to: Water Quality Consenting Team Leader, Environment Agency, Exminster House, Miller Way, Exminster, Exeter, Devon, quoting the above application reference, not later than 15th October 1998.
