Notice of application to Stop up Highway Mandela Road, London E.16

Notice is given that the Council of the London Borough of Newham, being the Highway Authority, intends to make application to Magistrates’ sitting at Stratford Magistrates’ Court, 389-397 High Street, Stratford, London E.15, on Wednesday, 30th September 1998, at 2 p.m. for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, that land designated as highway in the vicinity of Mandela Road, London E.16, be stopped up on the ground that is unnecessary.   The effect of the said Order is shown on a drawing which may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the Council at Newham Town Hall, Barking Road, East Ham, London E6 2RP, and also 25 Nelson Street, East Ham, London E6 4EH, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays (excluding Saturdays and Bank Holidays).
