Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Hankley Common Golf Club Ltd., of The Clubhouse, Tilford Road, Tilford, Farnham, Surrey GU10 2DD, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 28/39/30/370 which authorises the abstraction of water from Hythe Beds at National Grid Ref. SU 879 423 at Hankley Common Golf Club.   The variation being applied for is to increase the licensed amount from 13,637 cubic metres to 45,000 cubic metres per annum for spray irrigation of golf course.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Hankley Common Golf Club between 21st August 1998 and 21st September 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Water Resources Officer, South East Area, Kings Meadow House, Kings Meadow Road, Reading RG1 8DQ, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
