Notice of the issue of a submarine pipe-line works authorisation

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry hereby gives notice that he has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, a works authorisation to be held by Elf Exploration UK plc, whose address is 30 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6NN, for the construction of a 867.6 millimetre gas pipe-line between the Shearwater “C” platform and the Shearwater “C” platform subsea isolation value.
  Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the 867.6 millimetre pipe-line shall only be used to convey dry gas.
  The pipe-line may be used by the holder and with the holder’s agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons.
  Elf Exploration UK plc has been appointed operator of the pipe-line.
