Notice of application for a licence to abstract water

Take notice that G & G Mauro of 34 Bretforton Road, Badsey, Evesham, Worcestershire WR11 SUG, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Underground Strata (Mercia Mudstone), at National Grid Reference SP 0560 5025, at Lodge Farm, Harvington, Worcestershire.   The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 70 cubic metres per day, 10,000 cubic metres per year between March and October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation of salad crops.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Kingsley, Twyford Bank, Evesham, Worcestershire, between 13th August and 17th September 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Riversmeet House, Newtown Industrial Estate, Northway Lane, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire GL20 8JG, before the end of the said period.
